Nitro-Kegged Espresso Martini
If you don’t bring a kegged Espresso Martini to a party, are you even a good friend?
If you’ve kept up with my stories you’ll know that I’ve been experimenting with creating a batched Espresso Martini at home in a nitro keg. This achieves the same foamy head that you’d get from a typical espresso martini except straight from the tap and without all the extra fuss of shaking.
ingredients:
2 Parts Vodka
1 Part Espresso
½ Part Coffee Liqueur
½ Part Licor 43
1 Large Pinch Smoked Sea Salt
tools:
instructions:
Combine the all of the ingredients in the keg with ice. Charge with N2 cartridge, shake vigorously and let it sit for 10 mins. Charge with another N2 cartridge, shake and let it settle again for 10 mins before pouring. Store the keg in a cooler full of ice then simply pour each serving into coupe. Garnish with coffee beans.
