Spring Forward

Another @holycityhandcraft original coming at ya! Playing with a couple different flavors here, I’ve always been a big fan of medium-roast, fruitier coffees since they tend to taste like dark cherries and chocolate. So why not make a cocktail based on those flavor profiles, right?

ingredients:

  • 1½ oz Coffee Moonshine

  • 1 oz Sangue Morlacco

  • 1 oz Cynar

  • 2 dashes Aztec Chocolate Bitters

  • 2 dashes Cherry Bitters

  • Maraschino Cherries

tools:

instructions:

Using a @breville Smoking Gun, use maple wood to smoke the glass (optional). Combine moonshine, cherry liqueur, Cynar and bitters in a mixing glass with ice. Stir for 10 seconds. Strain and pour over a large rock. Garnish with an orange twist (or rose) and @luxardo maraschino cherries. Serve and enjoy.
