An espresso martini crossed with a mint chocolate Irish coffee? Sure, I got you

’Tis the season after all, I’ve come up with the perfect recipe to go along with this bottle of Glendalough Double Barrel Irish Whiskey. This single grain, Irish whiskey is first aged in oak then finished in Oloroso sherry casks.



ingredients:

  • 1½ oz | 45 ml Glendalough Irish Whiskey

  • ½ oz | 15 ml Creme de Cacao

  • ½ oz | 15 ml Fernet Mente

  • ½ oz | 15 ml Coffee Liqueur

  • ¾ oz | 22.5 ml Heavy Cream

  • 1 Pinch Smoked Salt

  • Mint leaf (Garnish)

  • Grated Nutmeg (Garnish)

instructions:

Combine all ingredients except the garnish in a shaking tin with ice. Shake vigorously and double strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with fresh grated nutmeg (optional) and a mint leaf.
