The Orange Sweeney

Iāve teamed up with kirkandsweeney to give you my take on a [boozy] childhood favorite (recipe below)! Inspired by the flavor combo of oranges and cream - the 12 year old Kirk and Sweeney rumās bold notes of caramel and and sweet vanilla is just KILLER in this cocktail. Oh and youāre probably going to want to make more than one š
ingredients:
1½ oz 12 Year Dominican Rum
1 oz Dry Curacao
½ oz Heavy Cream
½ oz Demerara Simple Syrup
½ oz Fresh Orange Juice
¼ oz Fresh Lemon Juice
5 Drops Orange/Fig Bitters
Fresh Grated Nutmeg
Fresh Grated Orange Zest

Combine all ingredients in a shaking tin with ice. Shake vigorously for 10 seconds. Pour and strain over a large tulip filled to the brim with crushed ice. Garnish with fresh grated nutmeg and orange zest, finish with a dehydrated orange wheel. Serve and enjoy!
