Here’s another twist on an Amaro cocktail from btparsons book, “Amaro” named the ‘Toronto’ — I’ll admit I’m not the most avid fan of Canadian whiskies, but you’ll be surprised what a touch of black walnut bitters, Fernet and demerara will do a cocktail.



 

ingredients:

  • 1 oz @Bulleit bourbon

  • 1/2 oz smoked Dolin Rouge

  • 3/4 oz Braulio Amaro

  • Housemade Cedar Bitters

  • Flamed lemon twist

instructions:

Combine bourbon, vermouth, amaro and bitters in a mixing glass.  Stir for 10 seconds.  Strain and pour over large ice cube in a rocks glass.  Garnish with a flamed lemon twist.
