The Lowcountry Daiquiri
In honor of #NationalRumDay, may I present:
ingredients:
2.5 oz (5 Year) Rum
1.5 oz Sorghum Simple Syrup (1:1 Water/Sorghum
1/2 Lime Juice
5 Dashes of Peychaud’s Bitters
Fresh lime wheel
Jalapeno SliceCrushed ice
instructions:
In a shaker, add rum, sorghum simple syrup and lime juice. Add ice and shake vigorously for 30 seconds. In your preferred rocks glass, add crushed ice and strain onto the crushed ice. Garnish with slices of lime and jalapeño. Add dashes of Peychaud’s bitters to your liking.
