Yeahhh, this is dangerously easy to drink.
I’ve been wanting to make this since y’all gave me the idea a few weeks ago. Huge thanks to those who gave me tips along the way, this was definitely a learning process and well worth the wait. Hope y’all try it out, big ups to @meganmakesdrinks for her wisdom on Clarified Milk Punches, seriously so talented 🙏🏽
Today we’re drinking our vegetables
Together with my friends over at @empress1908gin, we made a gin sour inspired by the ingredients in their Elderflower Rose Gin. Elderflower and cucumber have always been a match made in heaven but I really wanted to highlight the vegetal aspects of the black carrot in this offering as well. The addition of fresh carrot juice in this cocktail provided that sweet, vegetal note I was looking for. Hope y’all enjoy this one!

Happy #NationalDaiquiriDay - figured I’d kick off y’alls weekend with a solid sipper here. A classic daiq with the addition of Chartreuse and sea salt is the jam and you need to make it immediately.
Cheers y’all.
Let me make this clear…
Together with my friends at @bonterra, I’ve clarified one of my favorite cocktails, The New York Sour. Traditionally made with bourbon, lemon juice, simple syrup then topped with red wine. In this case, I’m clarifying this cocktail using the milk punch technique where we use the acid in lemon juice to bind with the milk solids to produce a crystal clear, delicate and delicious whiskey sour. Today I’m using Bonterra’s Pinot Noir to compliment due to its rich and bold notes that is the perfect floater for this cocktail.
Cheers y’all!

This recipe combines a couple of my favorite things: gin, honey, basil, watermelon with an addition of a bitter aperitif in Select and a pinch of smoked sea salt just to bring out more of the fruity flavors in this cocktail. Of course this is going to be served over crushed ice which will let the drink evolve a bit as you drink it.
Cheers y’all.
Another classic - The New York Sour.
We’re recreating some classic whiskey-based recipes utilizing the #TheQuietManIrishWhiskey. It provides for a flavorful; yet, well balanced base spirit for any whiskey-based cocktail.
Today we’re going to be making a classic New York Sour with Irish Whiskey - Try it out for yourself and let me know what you think, cheers y’all.

Together with empress1908gin, we’ve created a refreshing and airy sour with flavors of elderflower and lavender. Cheers y’all!
Let’s make a cocktail I didn’t think I’d like.
I always thought the lemon and chocolate sounded awful together but this was actually perfectly balanced and I was pleasantly surprised at how it turned out. Is it my new favorite cocktail? No, but will I make it again? Absolutely.
On this #WorldCocktailDay - let’s make the easiest Margarita you’ll ever make.

I love me a good classic cocktail and also love that this one is making a resurgence considering the recipe dates back to the late 1800s. All the flavors here play so well together, the brightness of the lemon, fruitiness of the raspberries and texture of the egg white is rounded out by the ever classic fordsgin. If you haven’t made it before, tonight seems like a great night to do so. Oh and maybe you should make two 😘
This recipe is sure to get you in a festive mood this season.
I created a festive take on a traditional Collins. This one combines the flavors of maple, apples, caramel and cinnamon into a cup of cheer you’ll be sure to enjoy this season. Cheers y’all!
It's a good day for the pool/beach! Try making one of these "Tourney Tallboy" Micheladas I made for southernproper. Thank us later ☀️🍻

Happy #NationalMargaritaDay, figured this would be a good time as any to make the Jägerita since its been making the rounds on the interwebs. Tbh, I didn’t think I was going to like this cocktail but it totally works when you treat @jagermeisterusa for what it is… an amaro/digestivo. What we made here is essentially an Amaro Sour, and a damn good one at that. Make it.
Cheers y’all.
C’mon honey let the good times roll…
Hope y’all aren’t getting tired of these summer cocktails yet because together with my friends over at hinecognacs, we created an easy and delicious recipe that will be a go-to over the next few months. The richness of honey, herbaciousness of basil + the foamy texture from the egg whites lends to perfect balance of flavors accentuated by this V.S.O.P. by my friends at #HINECognac - give this a try and let me know what you think.
Cheers y’all!
Who doesn’t love a little spice with their sweet and sour?
Lunar New Year is right around the corner (1/22) and together with hinecognacs, we’ve developed a recipe to celebrate. For this recipe, I’m utilizing ingredients typically found in eastern culture such as sesame and five spice, as well as tapping into the Chinese region of Sichuan to bring a bit more of that spiciness to the party. HINE’s VSOP line offers a delicious and balanced experience from start to finish. You’ll get notes of sweet, sour, savory and spiciness in a glass and it’s perfect for any gathering.
Make sure to grab your bottle from @reservebarspirits (link in stories).
Cheers and happy year of the rabbit!
Movie night with the fam. Homemade Maple New York Sours seemed appropriate.

It’s the national cocktail of Martinique and Guadeloupe. ‘Ti’ is an abbreviation for “petite” (aka small) - so the cocktail name translates to ‘small punch’. It’s all built in the glass and as easy to drink as it is to make. Today we’re making a spin on it by adding light herbal elements via “Végétal de la Grande Chartreuse” aka “the elixir” - its the purest form of the original Chartreuse out there (and actually readily available).
Monday mood ✨
.
New whiskey/different day - recently had the opportunity to try out @blackenedamericanwhiskey - a project by THE MAN, @davepickerell (of @makersmark and @whistlepigwhiskey). Its 56% bourbon, 43% rye and 1% corn, finished in black brandy casks. I figured it would hold up really well in a stiff riff on a spicy NY Sour. Recipe below!
