Sick of boring ole mint juleps? This one is for you.
If you haven’t had Chartreuse vegetal elixir before, you need to find a bottle. It has all the herbaciousness of Chartreuse without the sweetness. It works really well in a julep and really complements the mint and bourbon, y’all gotta try it out.
Big thanks to @jameswitty for hooking me up with my first bottle! 🙏🏽
The daiquiri you didn’t know you wanted.
Happy #NationalDaiquiriDay - figured I’d kick off y’alls weekend with a solid sipper here. A classic daiq with the addition of Chartreuse and sea salt is the jam and you need to make it immediately.
Cheers y’all.
Well’p, if y’all have been following along, you know that two of my favorite things are a stiff Boulevardier and coming up with twists on a classic. This one is no different, the herbal notes of Chartreuse with the addition of grapefruit bitters takes the place of Campari in a funky yet delicious variation. Give it a shot.

If you’re into funky Jamaican rums and Old Fashioneds, this is the recipe for you.
Always float the rum 🍹
Rum has had my heart lately and this drink is such a crowd pleaser. It’s an easy win for that late spring/summer season.
Cheers y’all.
A play on a classic... The Tipperary! Another cocktail from our collaboration at @spectatorhotel with my dude @lancasterchucktown. Keep in mind that these are ON THE MENU at The Spectator Hotel's bar through the Spring! Make sure to stop by and check it out. Check out the recipe below!

It’s the national cocktail of Martinique and Guadeloupe. ‘Ti’ is an abbreviation for “petite” (aka small) - so the cocktail name translates to ‘small punch’. It’s all built in the glass and as easy to drink as it is to make. Today we’re making a spin on it by adding light herbal elements via “Végétal de la Grande Chartreuse” aka “the elixir” - its the purest form of the original Chartreuse out there (and actually readily available).
I promised cocktails from @katherinebrasserie at the gorgeous @kimpton @thecardinalws in Winston-Salem, NC - so here’s the first! Its a great balance of sweet, herbal and spicy. The Old Overholt Rye plays nicely with the Carpano Antica and Yellow Chartreuse to create a sturdy, complex cocktail.

Check out my collaboration with Striped Pig Distillery and Charleston Food Writer (Candy Herriott) as I create one of the best cocktails I've ever made (if I do say so myself) -- recipe after the jump!
