I’ve created a cocktail thats sure to warm you up and cool you down at the same time. This takes The Classic Laddie, an unpeated, scotch whisky, combined with the flavors of rosemary and allspice with an aroma of smokey rosemary to create a cocktail that is as refreshing as it is smokey. Anyone can make this recipe, so make sure to give the gift of The Classic Laddie this holiday season by heading to the link in my bio!
Read MoreIts no secret I love experimenting with new ingredients to create unique and original cocktails. I feel as though with the resurgence of the craft cocktail scene, cocktail syrups have been all the rage lately. I met Max Messier during @bevconchs in Charleston this past month, and thats when he introduced me to the @cocktailandsons Spiced Demerara Syrup. He explained it contained flavors such as baking spices, coriander and peppercorns, combined with 100% Louisiana cane sugar. needless to say, I had to take this bottle home, this was one of two of my creations…

Allow me to introduce the first one, if you like mint-chocolate and Old Fashioned cocktails then this is the recipe for you! PS. Huge thanks to @jimbeamofficial for partnering up with me this year!
Read MoreI'm always inspired by a couple of you @instagram mixologists to create something a little more fun than the typical bourbon-centric cocktail y’all have been so used to seeing. A couple months ago, local kombucha maker, Jonathan Cox, over at @onelovekombucha invited me and my wife over to their ‘brewery’ to see the process and try a couple of flavors he had been working on. When I tried this hibiscus/ginger variety, I instantly knew it would be great in a bright summer cocktail. Combined with a butterfly pea flower ice sphere (ahem… thanks for the idea @shesmegnificent), here’s my attempt at a kombucha cocktail.

More often than not I get asked about how to use scotch in a cocktail, well… I’m here to show you one of the classics. Feel free to use a blended scotch for this but single malt is just so tasty. Cheers y’all.
The ultimate nightcap doesn’t exi……This recipe combines the base formula for an Old Fashioned combined with flavors inspired by sleepy-time tea, which contains a blend of herbs that include chamomile and lemongrass. I further enhanced that flavor with honey and ginger to create the ultimate simple syrup perfect for #BedTime.
