The Winter Coat
Just because Summer is over doesn’t mean you can’t still enjoy Elderflower Gin and Tonics with a splash of Bundle up, and grab your winter coat.
Together with my friends at @licor43usa, I’ve created a cocktail thats perfect for the season. It’s inspired by a creme brûlée and it just so happens that #Licor43 makes a `Creme Brûlée’ flavor as part of their indulgence trio lineup (other flavors include Horchata and Chocolate). This cocktail combines winter spices with bourbon and is then topped with caramelized sugar sitting atop an egg white foam.
ingredients:
1 oz | 30 ml Licor 43 Creme Brûlée
1½ oz | 45 ml Bourbon
½ oz | 15 ml Simple Syrup
½ oz | 15 ml Allspice Dram
Egg White
Sea Salt
Brûlée Sugar (Garnish)
Grated Cinnamon (Garnish
instructions:
Reverse dry shake all ingredients except for the sugar. Pour into a chilled coupe. Top egg white foam with sugar. Brûlée with a torch. Top with grated cinnamon.
