Wintered Amaro Sour
Let’s keep those seasonal cocktails going, shall we?
Together with amarolucano1894, I’ve created a recipe thats sure to warm you right up in the coldest of nights. The recipe combines bourbon, cinnamon syrup, lemon juice and the bold flavors in Amaro Lucano to create a wonderfully balanced flavor that is softened by an egg white (or aquafaba) foam. This one was a treat to make and drink and hope you’ll do the same. Cheers y’all.
ingredients:
1½ oz | 45 ml Amaro
¾ oz | 22.5 ml Bourbon Whiskey
½ oz | 15 ml Cinnamon Syrup
¾ oz | 22.5 ml Lemon Juice
2 Dashes Aromatic Bitters (Garnish)
¾ oz Aquafaba OR 1 Egg White
1 Dehydrated Lemon Wheel
instructions:
Combine ingredients, reverse dry shake. Fine strain and pour into a chilled coupe. Garnish with dashes of bitters and a dehydrated lemon wheel. Serve and enjoy!
