Finally revisiting Jäger… in Margarita form!
Happy #NationalMargaritaDay, figured this would be a good time as any to make the Jägerita since its been making the rounds on the interwebs. Tbh, I didn’t think I was going to like this cocktail but it totally works when you treat @jagermeisterusa for what it is… an amaro/digestivo. What we made here is essentially an Amaro Sour, and a damn good one at that. Make it.
Cheers y’all.
What better way to combine two things I love (craft cocktails and @strangerthingstv) than the #StrangerThingsAB cocktail contest held by my dudes @apartment_bartender and @keifermadness. Inspiration comes from THE UPSIDE DOWN and a bit of that fall flavor all is basic girls love 💁🏻
.
Cheers y’all, make sure to tune into Season 2 of Stranger Things on @netflix TOMORROW!
Good morning Charleston! Check me out on lowcountrylive on abcnews4 this morning. I’ll be making a couple of holiday cocktails including this Spiced Apple Spritz made with stripedpigdistillery Spiced Rum… its Thanksgiving in a cup. Check out the recipe on http://holycityhandcraft.com (Link in bio)

Hope y’all aren’t getting tired of these summer cocktails yet because together with my friends over at hinecognacs, we created an easy and delicious recipe that will be a go-to over the next few months. The richness of honey, herbaciousness of basil + the foamy texture from the egg whites lends to perfect balance of flavors accentuated by this V.S.O.P. by my friends at #HINECognac - give this a try and let me know what you think.
Cheers y’all!
Found some inspiration in right place. Check out "SPRITZ" by @taliabaiocchi of punchdrink and @lesliepariseau of @saveurmag for some great Italian food and spritz recipes. Cheers to the long weekend! 🍹🙌🏾

This one subs the traditional salt rim with olive brine and it works SO well with the grapefruit in this recipe. Saline and aperitivos rend to accentuate the citrus notes and in this case, it brings out some of the grapefruit in Salers. Hope yall enjoy this one, it’d be a good one to batch.
Did you miss the @holycityhandcraft pop-up over at @spectatorhotel a few weeks ago where me and @lancasterchucktown collaborated on THREE craft cocktails? If so, we got you fam... the cocktails are STAYING ON THE MENU at The Spectator Hotel's bar through the Spring. Make sure to stop by and check it out. Also, over the next few weeks I'll also be sharing our recipes for each cocktail!

Try this modern classic instead. It’s a stirred boozy drink and gets its name from the flash from flaming an orange twist. Traditionally served up in a chilled coupe but does perfectly fine over a big rock as well.
Cheers yall.
Well’p, if y’all have been following along, you know that two of my favorite things are a stiff Boulevardier and coming up with twists on a classic. This one is no different, the herbal notes of Chartreuse with the addition of grapefruit bitters takes the place of Campari in a funky yet delicious variation. Give it a shot.

Read MoreOh, y’all thought I was done with that Negroni-aged coconut? 🥥
Well in an effort to reduce waste and get every single bit of flavor out of that rum-Negroni aged coconut, I decided to make a syrup out of it. It’s definitely more coconut forward but still has hints of that Jamaican rum and Campari - but the question is… what should I make out of it?? Drop your suggestions below and I’ll make it this week!
Cheers y’all.
Its no secret I love experimenting with new ingredients to create unique and original cocktails. I feel as though with the resurgence of the craft cocktail scene, cocktail syrups have been all the rage lately. I met Max Messier during @bevconchs in Charleston this past month, and thats when he introduced me to the @cocktailandsons Spiced Demerara Syrup. He explained it contained flavors such as baking spices, coriander and peppercorns, combined with 100% Louisiana cane sugar. needless to say, I had to take this bottle home, this was one of two of my creations…

Together with my friends at drinkhighwest, I want to share one of three cocktails that High West will be serving at this year’s High Water Festival (@highwaterfest) here in Charleston. This cocktail is light, refreshing and pairs perfectly with great music. Let me know if you’ll be out at the festival this year and check out the recipe below while you’re at it!
Please drink responsibly. Cheers y’all.

I’ve teamed up with my friends at Watkins1868 to create a local twist on a classic. This cocktail utilizes their new Aromatic Bitters which has delicious hints of vanilla, tart cherries and hibiscus. All flavors that meld perfectly with a funky Jamaican rum and fresh sweet black tea. Check out the recipe below, cheers y’all!
Heard it was #NationalRumDay…
If you’re into funky Jamaican rums and Old Fashioneds, this is the recipe for you.
Always float the rum 🍹
Rum has had my heart lately and this drink is such a crowd pleaser. It’s an easy win for that late spring/summer season.
Cheers y’all.
This was introduced to me back in 2015 and it couldn’t be simpler.
The coffee tonic was introduced to me by my friend @brooksreitz back when I tried jackrudycocktailco’s tonic syrup for the first time. I thought the herbal, sweet, and bitterness of the their tonic would be little odd with coffee but man was I wrong. I still drink these on occasion and still love the combo with a little lemon twist. The best part is its only two ingredients.
If you don’t bring a kegged Espresso Martini to a party, are you even a good friend?
If you’ve kept up with my stories you’ll know that I’ve been experimenting with creating a batched Espresso Martini at home in a nitro keg. This achieves the same foamy head that you’d get from a typical espresso martini except straight from the tap and without all the extra fuss of shaking.
